PTV recently gears up for the full swing in its digital television (DTV) broadcasts, while its powerful transmitter inside the PIA compound is being overhauled in order to transition its analog-to-digital broadcasts. Soon, the broadcast operations of PTV in Manila will move its digital frequency from the existing DTT-42 to the NTC-assigned DTT-14 once the transmitter overhaul is completed ahead of schedule. The DTT broadcast under the powerful transmission, while the analog broadcast of PTV 4 is ongoing.
